It is safe to say EdiLoad has changed my life as an assistant. Building a project with EDL's has eliminated the need for change notes. And the changes it makes are nearly bulletproof. The ability to edit and manipulate an EDL gives you more control and less reliance on the cutting room. In conjunction with EdiCue, I am able to make scene change tracks for the editor with scene descriptions. It's like having a built in continuity in all of your sessions.
I've even had luck using the 'expand to track' feature in Pro Tools. EdiLoad fixes many of the issues that have made this process previously unusable.
