HDK-Valand - University Of Gothenburg

Ediload has really helped us a lot. Moving projects from Premiere to Pro Tools has always been a compromise, and I managed to get everything into Pro Tools with all metadata within 5 minutes of using your program! Fantastic! Samuel Malm, Program Director, HDK-Valand, University Of Gothenburg

Bullet Train - Sony Pictures

Having beta-tested more hardware and software than I'd care to recall, I am wary of the terms "groundbreaking", "game-changing", or "revolutionary". EdiLoad's Assembly window, however, can truly make claim to being a leading-edge update to an already invaluable application in our array of Must...

Roma - Sergio Diaz

Just for you to know, was a tremendous help to use your products EdiCue and EdiLoad on ROMA. Many thanks! The Voice - Levels Audio LA

I have integrated EdiLoad into my workflow whether I am mixing, editing, or sound designing. I utilize the conform feature to conform ISOs when replacing the line mix used in the video edit. When sound designing and mixing, the scene and picture cut reference tracks are used on a daily basis for...

Real World Post - Red Six Ltd

EdiLoad has become an integral part of my regular workflow, it's the only re-conform software I rely on to get the job done. I've tried all the others, and EdiLoad is the one I always come back to. I use it most regularly to speed up the delivery of natural history documentaries. We generally...

Fortitude - Encore London

EdiLoad has become an essential application for us. Having a suite of tools that enables us to create and manipulate EDLs, and re-conform reliably, allows us to handle the recuts and creation of multiple versions that are required in episodic television drama. Chris Roberts - Supervising Sound...

The Founder - The Weinstein Company

It is safe to say EdiLoad has changed my life as an assistant. Building a project with EDL's has eliminated the need for change notes. And the changes it makes are nearly bulletproof. The ability to edit and manipulate an EDL gives you more control and less reliance on the cutting room. In...

Entourage the Movie - Warner Bros Sound

I’m having a hard time remembering what life was like before EdiLoad and simultaneously kicking myself for not using the software sooner. I have recently used it on three different features: Entourage the Movie, Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck, and Pelé. It was invaluable on all three and the...

Da Vinci's Demons - Starz and BBC Worldwide

As Supervising Sound Editor on Season 2 of Da Vinci's Demons for Starz and BBC Worldwide, I knew we were going to have our work cut out for us producing 10 one-hour shows. Time management and communication were critical to achieving deadlines, so we turned to Sounds In Sync and used their program...

Montana, Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa, Plastic, Endeavour

I have used EdiLoad exclusively on all my recent film & TV projects including: 'Montana', 'Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa', 'Plastic', and 'Endeavour'. I simply would not consider cutting dialogue nowadays on any scale project without EdiLoad in my arsenal. It is easily my most used &...

I Frankenstein, The Railway Man, Tracks, The Sapphires, Felony

Our work just wouldn't be possible without EdiLoad. Picture changes never stop coming and we are expected to be up-to-date with our tracks at all times. In recent years we have successfully used EdiLoad on films such as 'I, Frankenstein', 'The Railway Man', 'Tracks', 'The Sapphires' and 'Felony'....

Morning Glory, The Raven, Green Zone

EdiLoad is a phenomenally useful application. With Edit Decision Lists (EDLs) being so widely used for everything from Dialog Assemblies through to re-conforms, EdiLoad is a tool that I can't live without on my productions. Its ability to generate useable Field Recorder Guidetracks in Pro Tools by...

NCIS Los Angeles - CBS Television

EdiLoad is a winner. The list I currently get has somewhat generic FCP reel numbers so I can still do a "selection" of events and change several reels to Sound Roll numbers. EdiLoad has reduced my test EDL convert from 3 hours to 30 minutes. I can see when I get a more accurate camera roll number...

Technology & Engineering Emmy® Award goes to Sounds In Sync for EdiLoad

Sydney, Australia (November 16, 2018) - Mark Franken, founder and lead developer at Sounds In Sync, announced today that his company will be a recipient of their second Emmy® Award, this time by The National Academy Of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS). The Academy have acknowledged the part Sounds In Sync’s application EdiLoad has played in transforming the way sound tracks are created for television productions through Automated Sound Conformation.

EdiLoad Wins Emmy® Award

This reputable award recognizes excellence in engineering, including innovative companies and leaders that are setting new standards for technological excellence in the television industry.

The Emmy® Award will be presented as part of the 70th Annual Technology & Engineering Emmy® Awards, taking place in partnership with the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), at the NAB Show at the Wynn Encore Hotel and Spa on Sunday, April 7th, 2019 in Las Vegas, NV. In the announcement, Robert Seidel, Chairman of the Technology & Engineering Achievement Committee said, "Screen actors are always cited for Oscars. Stage performers are similarly proud of their Tonys. Television journalists are quick to add an Emmy® Award to their resume – and with good reason. We award the Technology & Engineering Emmy® Award to these outstanding companies and individuals who are the 'tool makers' of the industry that have materially affected the television viewing experience."

"We are honored to receive this prestigious award from the Academy for the development of EdiLoad and its predecessor EdiTrace", said Mark Franken. "We are excited to be recognized for the important part that these applications have played in the sound post-production industry, and we are grateful for our clients who have helped shape EdiLoad into the application that it is today".

Since creating their first sound re-conforming solution EdiTrace in 2003, Sounds In Sync have been a leader in creating work-flows to enable sound editors to "chase the picture edit" while allowing them to create their sound track.

Conforming (re-conforming) sound for picture changes has become a requirement for sound editors and mixers working in sound post-production with today's demanding schedules and budgets. Without tools like EdiLoad, sound editors and mixers would not have the time to design sounds, edit dialogue, or mix shows in time for client reviews and transmission.
