EdiApps and macOS Catalina Compatibility Info

Apple released its latest major update for macOS called macOS Catalina (10.15) on October 7, 2019. One of the major changes in this update is that it will only allow 64-bit applications to run. We have been working this year to update our apps for 64-bit, and are excited to announce that the following have been released:

These applications are fully compatible with macOS Catalina.

We are still in the process of updating our applications EdiLoad, EdiChart and EdiMarker for 64-bit. If you require a 64-bit version of one of these apps to run on macOS Catalina, please contact us and we will let you know if we are in a position to provide you with a pre-release build.

In addition, until Avid release a version of Pro Tools that is fully qualified with macOS Catalina, we cannot test all functions of our applications. We recommend holding off with upgrading to macOS Catalina until Avid provide this update or qualify an existing version of Pro Tools. For details see the Avid Pro Tools Operating System Compatibility Chart.

We will update this blog post as we release updates of our applications that are fully compatible with macOS Catalina, and include info on Pro Tools compatibility.

Application installers can be downloaded from our download page.
